Creating Courses for Higher Education

Background

Designing a course for higher education is a multi-step process that involves extensive research, planning, and revision. I started designing courses for community college students in 2014. Since then, I’ve adapted my course shells to accommodate changing modalities (F2F, asynchronous online, synchronous online, hybrid - you name it!), updated resource materials, compressed instructional timelines, and other initiatives. The purpose of this video is to provide some insight into how I go about this process and what I consider along the way.

This video was created in Camtasia on a PC.
